Phonological Awareness
Phonological Awareness:
Phonological assessments are similar too Phonemic except they measure the students grasp of the sound of the words more not necessarily the word sound as it is changed. These assessments are geared to be used with pre-k to first grade students and the first two shown should take no more than five minutes to go over small or whole group. The third assessment however, should be completely individually or in small groups and may take ten minutes to complete. These are also formative informal assessments with a possibility of being formal assessment. These assessments are easily given on a computer or with the teacher in small/whole group settings.
